Our take
The NovaRow R50 is a solid machine with 10 levels of air resistance, which gives good variety. The LCD is easy to read and tracks all the basics. The 350 lb capacity is decent, and the ergonomic footboard is comfortable. However, at $823, it's pricier than similar models, and the 10 resistance levels might not be enough for advanced users. Assembly took about an hour. It's a good rower, but I feel there are better values out there. The extra large size might be a concern for smaller spaces.
